It ain't gonna change the value of ur data, they'll still sell it, it just won't be as accurate.

They're arguing that as if they're not doing that exact thing themselves, as if they ain't silencing their critics. Worst part is he's disguising himself as a libertarian and someone who's pro free-speech, when his ideas of libertarianism only extend to his govt. and cronies and his ideas of freedom of speech extend to his own views and his own supporters. He's using the guise of being censored himself to censor literally anyone who opposes him.

In comparison with the US democrats they are.

Well as always, if he's guilty may he have fun rotting in jail and hopefully drops the soap, if he's innocent I hope he bounces back from such life ruining accusations.

He was charged, not found guilty yet, a charge doesn't automatically mean you're guilty. You should wait for criminal proceedings to end before declaring he did it. So many people are quick to presume the guilt or innocence of people who were charged before they're even convicted.

Once he sees not everyone will he'll start censoring those who don't. He's fixated on getting things done his way regardless of how it affects anyone else.

Regardless of what you or anyone has on your phone that is, in any context dystopian and authoritarian asf, there's already been cases of people being detained by US border authorities for anything anti-govt. found on their devices. It's like Trump read 1984 and thought it was an instruction manual.

On another note, for those who don't care abt using free software, or don't care about privacy cuz they have "nothing to hide". Think about how much power the US govt. has over data collecting corps. like Microsoft, Google and apple, now think abt how much power a man like Trump can give himself over the US govt. How much control do u rlly have over your own devices? If there's no way to truly, freely express yourself without govt. interference then there is no democracy.

Best thing to do is just avoid the states all together, I've done it my whole life and am continuing doing so.

Icl I never personally fully agreed with their govt's politics, but at least they can stand on fucking business, unlike their conservatives. Imagine if Poland just bent over backwards when Hitler invaded, instead of fighting. How can you fully question your own sovereignty like that, especially to a "country" that "gained their independence" from YOU.

How can Keir Starmer not show unwavering support to a country that not only shares a head of State but also as a Commonwealth nation. UK politicians showing way too much support to a country that couldn't give a toss about them. Canada should be demanding the land they once had back from the US, and Mexico should demand the land that the US stole from them.

I agree with all the Linux comments but another thing you could do is use FOSS self-hostable front-ends to those proprietary services like invidious and newpipe (android) for youtube, redlib for reddit, nitter for twitter etc. You don't have to host them yourself, there's already plenty of people hosting their own instances.

Aside from removing ads which you can already do with an adblocker (which takes 1 revenue stream away from them) it lets you browse privately without any data collection which would be sold to advertisers (taking away their 2nd revenue stream) plus it frees you from the clutches of the algorithm, it helped stopping my ADHD from leaving me 2 binge yt vids for hours on end.

Majority of AAA games run invasive software like kernel-level anticheat, I'd personally recommend js buying him a PS5 or running them in VMs (Linux or windows).
