[off topic?] When William Gibson was researching 'Neuromancer' he spent a lot of time hanging out with hackers. They'd tell stories and he'd catch about a quarter of what they were talking about.

When it came to write the book he decided that he'd make the book like that, the reader would have to push though a lot of things that didn't make sense until they acquired more information.

Quick search reveals they first appeared in a Spider-Man comic in `1982.

Even if they were 14 at the time they are still ready for retirement.

imho Wesley/Lilah from Angel was what romance in the Buffyverse was supposed to look like. The only people they can relate to are dedicated to destroying them.

I thought that 'Cloak and Dagger' was one of the better Marvel shows. One thing I liked was that there was never a hint of romance between the leads; they were good friends who weren't mooning over each other. Turns out the writers were saving the romance for the next season, which never got made.
