kind of interesting how video games do eternal magical lighting in places that shouldn't have lights for gameplay purposes (some exceptions for treasure-hunter games deliberately imitating films)
but films always have characters create or cause lighting for say, ancient tombs.
and both of these are the easier option in the medium, creating whole systems for lighting/extinguishing sources needed for gameplay is excessive work, yet keeping consistent lighting, esp. when it involves flammables is time sensitive with film, so it makes more sense to incorporate into scenes
"roman" is a very interesting visual design theme, tbh. there's like 2-3 actual elements and then just vibes that go with them, and all of these are shared with any other hellenistic vibe.
it'd be fun to take nondescript hellenistic scenes and change the palette and ask if people think theyre greek or roman honestly. red is kinda coded roman, or spartan
yeah but molasses beans arent very good on toast
even on cars that have them, it can be a setting rather than what automatically happens. one car i drove had a normal daytime setting but i thought it was the highbeams since an even lower 'running light' existed.
there is no reason for normal people to have the option to turn them off, a film crew or photographer can get technical and under the hood if they need to
i posted this then died 2 minutes later because companions can't follow you up the cliffs you're able to scale, lmfao
it's still nice when you aren't relying on a team to keep you alive but my difficulty settings kind of do, esp. in dlc areas
Skyclimb was a really fantastic step forward for skyrim se but there's actually something much better. Skyparkour. edition 2 is the latest now. faster, more responsive. it's excellent.
and i'm not exaggerating when i say this mod, or even skyclimb(which i tried out first) are absolutely transformative. the most annoyance i ever had in this fucking game were rockwalls i ought to be aable to get over requiring long trips around. now you can just clamber up. hours-saving shit
i hate AI-shit i hate AI-shit i hate AI-shit
i know it's not like the cutting edge or anything but you can tell so distinctly when skyrim mods spliced original performances vs. used that fucking AI to generate the dialogue. night and day.
microplastic maxxing
can't say i've compared bottled water flavs because they are literally all
but as an anti-bottled post, i approve on principle.
it should be impossible for people to turn off their headlights, even in more visible paint colors the risk is fucking ludicrous for no discernable benefit.
i'd look at the specifications and construction of your filter, see what it does and is rated for, then compare the characteristics of fluoride. sorry for an 'it depends' but some kinds of water treatment effect fluoride and some don't.
seems like testing for fluoride specifically is a pain in the ass so you're better off just making an educated guess from the specs.
