Don't think I've eaten a donut in a couple years now. I feel like I know what they taste like by now.

I've got a dumb opinion about this: They're just old fashioneds for people who don't understand aspect ratios applied to frosting per bite.

If this is going to be what Switch 2 offers, I'm fully out

Edit: I checked with a friend. Normal game cartridges are still a thing. One thing that makes them slightly better than digital downloads (albeit still imperfect) is that you can at least trade, sell, and buy them used. Not as good as physical media, but slightly better ownership rights than buying a digital copy.

I wish you could find a way to pursue this somewhere more aligned with your values. There's a brain drain happening right now for a reason, I would heartily recommend joining it.

Inspired by this thread, today I set up my kid's neglected bedroom Linux computer to read comic books off my media server and he's already obsessed. Woo!

Have you considered talking to the news? This is all profoundly abnormal. I know journalism is mainly dead, but it's the kind of story John Oliver might pick up anyway.

I always knew my high school was slightly fancy. Nothing extreme just, had decent facilities and decent groundskeeping, etc.

I never realised it was fancy for having under 40 kids in a class. This, at the same time as yours.
