Im a big believer in block. I think its better for people to peruse all and block communities they are uninterested in and you should totally block users you don't like. To me it should be like real life. Don't hang with folks you don't like. My hope for the fediverse is instances that only remove things to stay out of legal trouble and communities that only block things that are unrelated. I want all the big tools to be at the user level. Bottom up.

Why would they respond. The most powerful branches of our system has decided to be chattel and have no respect for themselves or their positions. I never realized how important it was that when I was young a senator was a senator first and a party member second. Heck the state they was from was often more important.

This would help a lot. I found I was not even sure if my post had been removed and posted again and then guessed that it had. I could not message the remover and ask why or anything.

maybe I was not clear. im saying I had an issue with a removed post and it got real wierd due to some other things but then today I noticed some removed posts. so they show in the feed as long as you don't refresh but go to 404's. I did not comment on his post because it was removed by the time I saw it. I know the user though and am surprised both that his would be removed and that it likely talked about other removal activity in other communities (that last part is a guess)

That has mine. I stopped posting to the community just after the stuff 12 days ago. I had a string of wierdisms around it with a user who replicates my posts from another community to that one I no longer post in and then piefed had a view change which got me to a convo where I at least was able to understand it better. It just happens that I then have noticed the removed items for another user which made me want to start up this meta conversation.

Ads don't annoy me per se. I mean disturbing things like an uptick in military recruitment do but not the idea of ads. You do see some wierd stuff. Man there is this ad in spanish where kids ask the parents if they can stop for food and the parents are like. no, we eat at home. then in the end the family is gather at the table with utensils in hand and low and behold here comes the grub hub to eat at home. Its like hilariously sad.

more of a "don't have a subscription term" although its not really a term used specifically for streaming but more for commercials. A commercial block is just the quantity of commercials during a commercial break. So crunch rolls blocks can be as small as 2 but I think I have seen one that is 8. 5,6,7 are pretty standard. 2 is their small one and im not sure I have ever seen 3 or 4 for whatever reason.

I have been saying it since january but military recruitment ads on cruchyroll and the wb have way increased. I stream from both regularly and its very noticable from last year and seems to be higher today than it was at end of january. literally 2-4 of them in a crunchyroll 7 commercial block. both services lean young and poor (if your getting commercials)

I really think a lot of piers anthony would be perfect for anime adaptions.

As others have said it works better in a more general way. I find its better to block things you are uninterested in completely and then browse all. Especially since I find the same communities will pop up again and again under various instances. I sometimes think folks make meme communities just for themselves to make memes. I would love a term blocker where I could dictate to block any community where X appears in the community name or description but like I don't want to block X if it appears in a comment. I think there is some issue with what people are used to from like reddit. Like people are self limiting themselves because they don't want to be going on about one specific game in games and want to instead make a community about just the particular game. Thing is stuff like that has to just be talked about in something like games until it becomes to much. if it is to much its ready for its own community.

Nope. Way back in the day turning the brightness on a monitor completely down was the big prank. I do remember cleaning my mices balls and I did not relish that. When optical mouse came down in price I bought one for every family member.

I hate all this bs. I want progressive taxes, regulations, and social services. It galls me with all this smokescreen crap.

I do just love it when folks dis voting or action or anything like that. Oh don't do stuff because its not going to work or your just trying to make yourself feel good. eff off bootlickers and everyone do whatever you feel you need to (do try to always vote with some judiciousness and conscientiousness).

That is not something I would think to eat but im guessing I could eat most everything that had enough sugar, salt, and vinegar. Its like the rule of deep frying or cheese sauce.

I was watching buffy and the eighth episode of the first season a demon is scanned into the computers. This is a funny time as its when people where online with dialup. All the same it had a quote I feel is apropos to the current period. Truns out that show had a bit of the simpsons precog ability:

Giles: Nonsense! I simply don't adhere to a, a knee-jerk assumption that because something is new, it's better.

Ms. Calendar: This isn't a fad, Rupert! We are creating a new society here.

Giles: A society in which human interaction is all but obsolete? In which people can be completely manipulated by technology, well, well... Thank you, I'll pass.

artist comment was they made this three years ago (thus the pregnancy). I don't recall seeing it though so im guessing they ended up not using it at the time.

I think its the first time baby angel demons have been seen. The demon/angel population is really booming in the strip.

I think in the past I mentioned the artist puts in a comment on the site and often a different comment in the rollover text. If you like the comic todays is a particularly good one to go to the site for https://thedevilspanties.com/ Also I once again posted this initially to a wrong community. I have no idea how I manage to do these things.

Have not heard one this good since the united healthcare one.

Not just a bit of snow mind you. We are talking a couple of inches. So not some flurries or a slight coating. Thats it. Just had to share.

Give it a chance. He comes at it showing sorta a worse case and then goes through how there are things that make it seem worse are actually not as bad. Nothing he goes through seems to be way off. So as far as I can tell its pretty even take. Not to rosy and not to doomy.
