Why does Lemmy use "@" instead of ":" like Matrix does? (sh.itjust.works)
 

matrix is #room:matrix.org and @username:matrix.org

why does lemmy use !room@sh.itjust.works or @username@sh.itjust.works ? it looks like email.

i like the matrix version better
