I've seen an article that describes opting out of the app integration as well (even though that by default it'll be on. There should be a class action against Google doing that! That said, I can't see Europe taking this as it is.)

Web search would be a better term since a lot of people use other search engines than Google.

Let's face it the problem is mostly the people. If AI was as super duper as claimed to be it would be able to construct advertising that makes everyone go: 'Yeah, I have to have this, it's useful, ethical, the bees knees really. '

The little advertising that still makes it over my thresholds is bad to abominable and of that what registers for me has the opposite affect it intents - I go out of my way to avoid it.

Hope no one was hurt, regardless whether they're stupid, distracted or whatever! If we can't build fail-saves into cars, what are our chances for real AI?

Exactly, they didn't just kill an individual, they bombed the whole building/block the individual was in - my personal believe.

My main question would be: does it include protection from Google itself?

Really quite simple. If you possibly cause additional harm then even the idea of executing an apology is stupid. No?

Stylistic choice to make it more visible (in most cases).

... some people want that. Ie there's a window manager, openbox, it's thought of by many people as dead or not further maintained because it happens so rarely, but it is because it's good as, it works and many people love it for that.

I started to answer it but to me it felt too much like 'surveillance state' questions...

Frustration: that we seem to punish certain people for transgressions against government rules and not others. (This government rely knows how to show off inequality).
