Sorry if this came out swinging. I’m very much a “you’re gonna have to pry the pencil out of my cold dead hand” mindset when it comes to comics or any question of doing comics.

Just because I’m married with kids still doesn’t make that my life’s goal. Making impactful unifying art doesn’t stop because I’m a mom. I drew comics in the nursery while feeding my newborn at 3am. My priorities have not changed.

Labrys- double headed axe. Feminist symbol. Matriarchy.

Pre-internet I drew the batman logo on my shirt in college comics. Then in 2000 when someone suggested I put my comic strips on the internet, I figured a copyrighted symbol wasn't the best idea for branding, so I adjusted the batman logo to look more like a labrys. Which is why early comics the handle is more like a batman tail.

oh.... oh honey... you have no idea. There are some very..... very talented audiobook readers. Most books can also be found as an audiobook. Sooooo... there's that.
