Only if the people allow them to. Don't.

The fuck he is. He was some overpayed dickwad with more ego than brains. Corporations should not hold any political significance, much less their executives

someone who looks just like him immediately ~~assassinates~~ murders another CEO

It's only an assassination if you kill someone of high importance, usually political importance

Have you considered being born to a wealthy white family in the West? I hear it's much easier

I feel like as long as you're running nvim in Linux you could take a screenshot of the whole desktop with nvim open to pass it off as ricing

But isn't this argument exactly what the book above is saying is false in their findings? Rescuers tended to have better relationships with their parents and given less traumatic punishments.

I suppose you could be referring to non-familial or non-violent traumas. In any case though, this would be sympathy rather than empathy. Those people are less likely to traumatize or otherwise harm a creature because they sympathize due to their personal trauma

And you feel like you portrayed that ideology by belittling me for not being interested in Pixelfed?

[–] JustAnotherKay@lemmy.world 12 points 1 week ago (1 children)

it'll be ~~demonized~~ monetized by Media.

Agreed.

Wow. Not even an ad hominem, literally just blind judgement. You have no idea what interests me, and no way to tell how I have interacted with Pixelfed. You have no concept of the idea that some people are just not into the things you enjoy.

Do you have any idea just how much content is out there in the world? You could browse through a petabyte of data and it could all be boring drivel to you because there are zettabytes of data out there in the internet. Some of it is bound to bore any random individual. That doesn't preclude me from enjoying the entire rest of the internet.

You remind me of people in red hats.

Yeah and none of those are my niche. Not to mention, content discovery is still difficult even if you personally see things you're interested in lol

One of the big issues that I personally had with Pixelfed is that content discovery is kind of difficult on the platform. Sure, there's probably some pictures out there of the obscure shit I'm into. However, all I ever found on pixelfed was like landscape/nature photography and a little bit of porn

To preface, I kind of know the answer to this. I've put on weight before but I was hoping to get advice on how to go about better/more efficiently. I guess my question is really: what are healthy high calorie foods I can use to put on weight?

I've been underweight pretty much my entire life. I don't think I have a chronic eating disorder, but there are times where I just don't want to eat. I believe, however, that's actually not my largest issue.

I'm potentially too health conscious. I'm vegetarian by accident (So I dated this girl right...) mostly, and as a result I eat a lot of nutrient-dense but calorically-low foods. I'm currently sitting just under 56kg (125 lbs) at 180cm (5'11ish). My plan currently is to just eat more often, and slowly ramp up how much I eat at each meal. About 6 years back I managed to hit 77kg by eating 4/5 large meals per day but then lost it all over the years by being sedentary and losing my appetite.

I really enjoy rereading my past conversations, whether it's texts or comments here on Lemmy. I do it pretty much every day, and I just think about the different things that could have been said. I don't obsess over it, I basically treat it like another feed. When I get bored of Home and All, I go through my own profile.

Do you ever reread past conversations here or elsewhere? How often?
