I was wondering if I missed something, but after one search, the revelation came that this happened around 150 years ago

I really wanna see that now

I really like this bit by Jon Stewart, because he really talked about exactly this, about the huge hypocrisy which I feel like no-one else really talks about or even acknowledges, that the Republicans constantly talk about free speech but actually behave in an infinitely more authoritarian and speech - restricting way than anyone else in the US would actually do.
Hearing someone else just speak that out load feels so good to me: Jon Stewart on Which Speech Is Free and Which Will Cost You in Trump’s America

I do see that point of view, but honestly, I think it's totally valid and understandable to point this out whenever they're mentioned.

Context? Who's that and what does he have to do with this post?

In what world are the democrats running on a socio-politically progressive platform? I mean just look at the book bans, the war against trans people, and how the democrats are doing against all that. It would win election, but honestly, Biden has been more left-wing on financial positions than socio-political ones, just see student debt forgiveness, child tax credit, antitrust measures, etc.

Friends hate this one simple trick!

I immediately thought the same, and honestly that's sad. This would be a really nice art style for an actual artist to use.

Those are not circles.

(Also sorry to disappoint you, but no, that's not how cross-posts work. It's a common mistake, but using the URL of the original post as URL is not a cross-post, but only a new original post which links to the old post. You can create a cross-post by clicking on the cross-post button under a post (two overlapping squares).)

Three for me (My telephone is a rotary phone, cassettes are nice and I rented a Blu-ray from a local video library not too long ago (I counted that as Blockbuster)).

I think the difference is that a boombox is a huge thing to carry around, while a bluetooth speaker can be just a small accessory
