Is there a way to watch the auto-dubbed videos with original audio, and subtitles?

I was only able to turn on subtitles for the original foreign language, but the translation obviously exists, since it was auto-dubbed...

I'm not sure.

AFAIK dd will create an IDENTICAL environment. This is actually not desirable as it will cause UUID conflicts where multiple partitions in a system have the same UUID.

Unless you're restoring something you imaged, dding one disk onto another requires fiddling with the UUIDs and fstab, to make the partitions unique again, so the kernel can tell them apart.

Yes.

But moving a partition can't be done online. And often enough it's mecessary before growing one, that I generally just tell people to do partition changes offline.

Not if you need to move it first.

Yes. You can just straight up delete the windows partition. Windows just won't boot anymore, even though doing only this won't remove it from the boot menu.

You can do this from your running linux install, but if you want to grow the linux partition to take up the free space, you'll need to do that from a live usb.

No changes should be necessary. Just delete the windows partition, and grow the linux partition.

Make sure you keep the efi partition, and swap partition, if there is one.

No it doesn't.

You can vaguely record maybe one conversation you overhear in addition to one you are having yourself at the same time. You definitely can't record every conversation in a room you're in. A mic can't either, but three, four, half a dozen people talking? Yeah, you can definitely pull that out of a recording.

It's been shown that a laptop mic is enough to decode what someone is typing on a keyboard in the same room, just from the unique acoustic difference between each key.

So no. What your brain does is nowhere near the absolutely data-black-hole that a live mic in every room would be.

Once there's enough of these, you might even cross-reference multiple recordings to assemble complete conversations between people who didn't have one on themselves, or even spend the full duration of a conversation within range of the same recording device. That is something your head absolutely cannot do.

NSFW tag on this one please

I see the appeal, but it's still a privacy nightmare if self-hosted.

It'd not just be recording you. It'd be recording everyone around you.

The main reason I think companies are getting into this, is it gives them an excuse to data-scrape reality, since they've exhausted what was available online.

Future training data will be everything these "customers" have ever said or heard.

Ufotable does know their shit im that regard.

But man. Demon Slayer has not gotten anywhere close to Fate in terms of enjoyment for me.

Fate series have always been standalone enough that you get a satisfying arc each time. Narrative pacing, character development. It's all there.

Demon Slayer, while even more beatiful than Ufotables previous work, is a complete slog narratively. I got tired of dealing with the plot and characters.

These days I always get excited about big mangas ending.

Means that if they stayed good throughout, I'll have a kown-good series to bingeread, and I won't run into the "last" chapter and then have to wait for more.
