Mastodon mainly only looks like there is no interaction happening because of their federating logic. Which is being worked on to be fixed sometimes this year

I would suggest the best people to end it would be the teenagers' friends and the adult partners' friends. Much more likely they'd listen to them.

But expressing that or trying to do anything about it is a completely different thing. Knowing teenagers, the consequences could be unintended
During one of the fire drills when I was going to school, one teacher was like "we should test whether the smoke alarms actually work" and lit a small fire in a small metal bin. Plot twist was that the smoke detectors on this side of the school did not work, but when the smoke got to the other side of the school it worked and triggered the alarm. Only at that time all the pupils were already on their way back into the building again and panicked when they noticed smoke and a new alarm.

Yeah it confuses a lot of people that it is called "digital euro" when it is in fact a new currency, my guess is they chose that name because there would be more resistance against it otherwise

Lemmy is programmed in a way so it actively looks for communities/groups. But not individual posters. which is why lemmy can only display mastodon and pixelfed individual posts if they have been posted into groups.
