We can't rely on the courts to keep saving us from stupid legislation. This is a direct result of the big ugly bill.

Movies have a bigger audience, require less time commitment, are heavily marketed, and cost less to see. Easier to convince people to see a so-so movie as long as it has a couple of good scenes. Harder to do with games, and gamers are usually at least somewhat more aware of games before they buy them.
I don't think it's radical to oppose genocide, but maybe that's just me...
The "incentive" will be selling the appliances for cheaper. Amazon was/has been doing this with Kindle readers: you can get it cheaper in exchange for ads on the lock screen.
The only thing worse than an incompetent fascist is a competent fascist, so I'll take this as good news. Imagine a J. Edgar Hoover version of the FBI right now. No thank you.
Ahh, but we didn't realize it yet.

Yeah, 'a bit out of touch' is a good starting point when talking about conservatives usually...
I'm with you on what I like to call the well-to-do liberal tilt of public broadcasting (NPR in particular). Reminds me a lot of the New York Times and their blatant biases. But my understanding is that the CPB is just a source of funding for PBS/NPR and is not directly linked to their operations. That said, they apparently provide quite a lot of the funding to those stations, so their odds of survival are looking quite grim.
Fake it till you make it!
