A decent drawing tablet

I was able to get this tub at Food Basics since it was on sale. I'm absolutely hooked on this flavour, it's full of peanut butter, cookie dough, and brownie chunks it's such a good combo.

I paid $6 for this 1.5L tub, but I think the regular price is around $7.50

My late cat Princess would beg me to open the cage door everytime I took it out for her annual checkups the vet. She would relentlessly beg and meow, and I'd eventually open the door and she would walk right in. Hell, you could close the door and as long as there were toys and treats she wouldn't complain. But, the second that cage was lifted up and carried into the car, she would realize that it wasn't just some magic box with food and try to get out. As she moved around in the cage, one of her cat toys would roll and she'd calm down before her realization hit again.

She was truly the epitome of an orange cat...

I knew that Orion supported Firefox and Chrome add-ons, but for some reason I assumed that they won't work unless it was something I could find on the iOS App store. 😅 I'm def going to add uBO to Orion, Brave's CEO is such a pos and I've always felt icky using it but there wasn't a good mobile alternative.

I use Librewolf on my PC and I use Brave on my phone (it's the only way I can use a uBlock on IOS)

This is a big factor for me. Attracting local people means that I can meet up in person and not have to spend additional money for shipping ,or worry that the item arrived damaged or is lost during transit.

Yes, but Facebook has more people so the items I'm selling typically get picked up pretty fast.

Same Unfortunately, I use Marketplace for some things and Meta made it damn near impossible to use a browser for posting marketplace listings and responding to DM's

I'm so sorry OP :(( I had to put down my cat a year ago due to liver failure. By the time we took her to the hospital it was too late. We took her to the vet just a couple weeks before and the vet didn't noticed anything wrong with her. It was a complete shock to my mom and I. I still miss her dearly.

I love how fast cosMo@BousouP's songs are! Although it was super hard, I enjoyed playing his songs on Project Sekai.

Kikuo! I love how his music perfectly nails the feeling of uneasy emotions like anxiety and helplessness. He uses Miku for all his songs and I adore how he tunes her and keeps her voice at a somewhat lower pitch.

His YT channel because I gotta shout my GOAT out lol: https://m.youtube.com/@kikuo_sound

Man, shading water is so hard, but I think I at least got the basic shapes in a little.

More fan art for y'all! I think I'm going to recreate all the iconic poses from the series tbh

More Jojo fanart for yall! JJBA is my current hyperfixation so there's a good chance my next couple post may be JoJo related. (I also learned that I can upscale my pieces when I export them in Pixelorama, idk why I've never noticed until now.

At this point, I think its safe to say that pixel art is my new hyper fixation, so prepare to get sick of me lol. It hasn't been long since I started doing this, but I think I have found the resolution that I prefer. 128x128 gives the perfect balance between the pixelated style while being able to add a decent amount of details imo. My preference for software has also shifted a bit. When I started, I didn't mind using Libresprite, but now that I'm making more complex pieces that also require a reference, I've gone back to Pixelorama.

This was a request from r/drawme of someone's cat named Cleo! I liked how this one turned out.

Hey all! I started making pixel art around a week ago and I'm enjoying using this medium so far! I decided to bite the bullet and make a more complicated piece. I will admit, I had trouble getting through this one as shading the tree bark was so bit confusing and I decided to switch up the style at the top, but I'm glad I did it!

I've been exploring more of the Fediverse lately and I've found that PixelFed is great for finding photos for drawing references, which is where I got the inspo for this piece from. I really struggled to shade this if I'm being honest, something about the ice cream cone made the values hard to make out. Plus, this canvas size was a lot bigger than my other drawings so it looks a lot less pixelated. Idk how I feel about it tbh.

Hello all!

Given that Windows 10 is going to be unsupported by the end of this year, I was planning on switching to Linux since my laptop doesn't meet the requirements to run Windows 11.

My current laptop is an HP Pavilion x360 and by far, my favourite part about it is how it's not only a touchscreen, but the hinges allow the laptop screen to lay completely flat just like a tablet, (the interface even changes to a more tablet ish version) it's great for watching movies and drawing. When I switch over to Linux, I want to be able to keep as much of this feature as much as possible. I was planning on installing Elementary OS as it's designed to be more 'plug and play' as I'm not super tech savvy. When I was looking into if converting a touchscreen laptop to Linux, I read that Ubuntu has some touchscreen support which Elementary OS is based on, but I'm not sure how good it is, as all the Reddit threads on the topic were pretty old.

Whats the touchscreen support on Ubuntu like now? If you have a touchscreen laptop running Linux at the moment, how responsive is the screen? Is there other distrios that support touchscreen that are don't have a steep learning curve?

Thanks!
