It doesn't, but it makes—or should make—a difference to the people outside of Afghanistan. This is violence, and therefore a violent response to it is completely justified and shouldn't make the outside world say bullshit like "But extremism!" or "Can't they just Nonviolently Resist™?". Also—and probably more importantly—it's important to be consistent in our understanding of this stuff, because, for example, Zionists use these same fallacies to discredit the Palestinian resistance.

The single biggest stumbling block for any state to leave the union for any reason is the military. Most of the other problems can be resolved within the borders of the state, but the disposition of existing and theoretical new military hardware, personnel, and bases will always be a sticking point even assuming the federal government and the other states are willing to let them leave.
I mean it's California. At that point just get a few neighboring states on board, take all the military hardware and shit and be like "Wanna go to war over it?".
There are two avenues to walk. One is reprimanding Orbán. The effect will be that he will become even more annoying. With far right emerging in Europe, it'll be a matter of time before Orbán gets his way. Or, the EU could just let Orbán do whatever he wants. Picking their battles in order to win the ones that really matter.
There's a third: Just expel Hungary from the EU. They can reenter when they rediscover democracy.
I can't find anything in these links about the EU reinstating sanctions, only keeping sanctions that hadn't yet been lifted.
The EU falling in line when Trump broke the agreement has set back European policy by years if not decades and a mayor escalation the West Asia could push Europe over the cliff into full blown Fascism.
Did the EU fall in line? I mean they dropped the ball hard but didn't they try to continue the agreement after US withdrawal?
Uh... Arresting people for criticizing the government is Nazi behavior.
No make no mistake; that's not non-violence. Infringing on people's freedom of movement (or anything other right) under threat of violence is violence.
Did your back hurt picking so many cherries and building so many strawmen? Because I also distinctly remember leftists saying "at this rate Biden (later Harris) is going to fucking lose and we'll all regret it", which... uh... yeah. I'm not going to engage further because I don't have a horse in this race and I can feel my braincells dying by the second, but goddamn have you tried reflecting on why you lost for once?
Edit: I returned to the start of the thread and in the first goddamn place what the hell do leftists have to do with this conversation? You brought them up only to soliloquy about those damn leftists who practiced wrongthink. Why is your reaction for people pointing out your approach was flawed to say "no u"?
Yes, two choices: to resist, or to not resist. You could've admittedly defeat after actually doing something, but with how things actually went down? I'm perfectly willing to say that Trump is America's just desserts.
Sigh fucking BlueMAGA. When Trump destroys all US democracy, don't say you weren't warned.
That's certainly nice, but it's mostly irrelevant in the long run without a more serious remedy to the issues the far right uses to gain legitimacy.
