theres a difference between price and value. the price is what the market is willing to pay. value is what justifies the price. bitcoin has no fundamental value. a house is worth the net present value of all future rents, against maintenance and taxes etc.

maybe causing mayhem because he wants to use martial law to cancel elections. or maybe he will profit off the market moves with insider trading. or maybe he just listens to the suggestions of his hairstylist who just so happens to echo Putin.

science doesn't require meaning to have purpose. saving meaningless lives and minimizing meaningless suffering are purposes, as is understanding what we are and what we could become.

no the market was betting it was mostly a bluff. look at the futures market to see what tomorrow looks like. (dow jones down 1000 points, etc.)

pretty sure that crimes require intent

 

so when having professional phone calls at work, its gotten to the point that asking 'how are you?' seems tone deaf. is it just me?
