Before satnav we'd need to use an A-Z, we would learn the route and eventually not need the A-Z. With satnav I can drive to the same place 5 times and I don't know the route. This is AI today. in c/showerthoughts@lemmy.world

Just like in the scifi movies, where robots and ai are basically non-existent.

We don’t memorize phone numbers anymore, we rely on GPS to tell us where to go and Facebook reminds us of birthdays. What else will we stop remembering once AI remembers everything for us? in c/asklemmy@lemmy.world

With phone books, we don't memorize phone numbers any more, we rely on drawn maps to tell us where to go and calendars reminds us of birthdays. What else will we stop remembering once ~~AI~~ paper remembers everything for us?

Exactly! They should start by banning porn games. Then lgbtq games that corrupts our children. Then any political opposition. Only then will we live in a free and safe society. /s
