We didn't have all these problems when a gay man was in charge. ☕

Pole which disappears part way down the wall. His left arm is transparent. The person isn't on the bed but behind it. The shadows are all messed up too.

Of course it's real, just look at how tall CEOs are on average.

Is this the right article? It said they just did a test.

Yeah, Trump's insiders leveraged before the pump and sold afterward.

The "tokenization" you hear credit card companies using like Mastercard is cryptography. It isn't cryptocurrency or blockchain. When people say "crypto" isn't being used, they mean blockchain in this case.

Tokenization is when the number on your payment card is replaced with a ”stand-in” number that is saved in your phone or watch or the merchant’s site where you register your card. Tokenization protects your account by using that token instead of your real card number, which the merchant never sees or stores.

Remember those "exercise while you sleep" infomercials? I have parasomnia, so sometimes I wake up sore from moving around all night. Turns out, it really is like exercise while you sleep.

For anyone who wants an invitation to join mastodon.online, let me know! Like mastodon.social, it is one of the two official communities run by the Mastodon non-profit. The difference is that mastodon.online is invite-only.

Joining an invite-only server helps keep out spammers who target mastodon.social and lets someone be part of a more exclusive community. This can help someone have a better-quality mastodon experience, overall.

Of course, to keep out scammers, the invitation isn't open to just anyone who asks, they will have to have a posting history of some sort.

Does anyone know about the culture of different Lemmy instances?

I saw in this post that the culture between instances can vary quite a bit: https://lemmy.ca/post/40916774

What are the differences between the major instances?

For work browsing safety, my strategy is to use two instances:

  • lemm.ee – because it doesn’t allow pornographic content.
  • lemmynsfw.com – for anything I wish to subscribe to that falls into the opposite category.

The main discord server primarily serves the Japanese language. This is a link to our English discord server. Besides being a place to chat, there are resources like tier lists, social media updates, etc..

Link to join, so bots or scammers don't join underscores were added to the invitation. They will have to be removed to get the original invite link.
