Right. The only difference between a tariff and a VAT, is that the VAT applies to all products indiscriminately, where as a tariff only applies to imported goods.

The fediverse is a loose collection of communities with different rules and values that freely decide to share content with each other. These communities foster different opinions. The choice to freely associate with other communities is the antithesis to echo chambers, meaning we don't go around with an attitude of "that kind of thought doesn't happen here".
