Therapy is also supposed to be confidential but exceptions are made when someone is in danger.

There's another possible scenario of a child making the confession because they're feeling guilty about the sexual act despite being a victim.

I'm a woman and my first IUD insertion really didn't hurt me very much. Uncomfortable, but quick and not too bad.

But when my friends complained about the pain during theirs, I believed them. Because we are all different people with wildly different bodies. I have empathy.

It's not a difficult concept, but I think a lot of people struggle with it. "It was fine for me so anyone who complaints is making it up!"

Anyway, when I went to get my IUD replaced, the second insertion was absolute hell, so now I really get it. But I didn't need to go through it myself to believe people when they say they experience pain. There's so much evidence out there indicating that women experience pain. Is it really so hard to just believe the evidence?

Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego. Played it as a child together with my mom. She had all the worldly knowledge, but at the time I was the only one who could speak/understand English, so teamwork was key. That game meant hours of educational fun for the both of us.

I bet they'll do this to the ones who have a chance of beating American athletes.

I struggle so much with this. People were already bad at reading emails and following instructions (e.g. ask them to answer 4 questions which I have helpfully listed below, in bold, and they answer the first one and call it a day) but now they just let the a.i. handle it. So instead of not getting answers, I get incorrect and unreviewed answers that just sound like they might be right.

Then of course when I do the work, and it turns out to be completely useless because it was based on bad information, and it needs to be completely redone. That means wasted hours of time and productivity for me with nothing to show for it. All because someone else wanted to save 5 minutes.

Depends on context and the skill in question. For example, in my office, good at technology means you know how to submit a ticket to IT and you don't have a panic attack if someone mentions excel.
