This would also be nice for atomic distros, application space and system space could be separated in more cases.

That can change depending on your file manager, and many OSs do not present the file manager app anywhere but the app list by default, if they even have one.

Even knowing about the sentence structure "Do x by today", this post is phrased weirdly.

The top text uses the pattern "effect by amount", which leads people to see today as an amount in the bottom text. The bottom text is also a different kind of sentence entirely; "Shortening the lives of the rich by today" is a sentence fragment and needs to be modified, perhaps like "Me when I'm shortening the lives of the rich" to fit the format, or "Shorten the lives of the rich today" to fit the conclusion of the top text.

In any case, the format of the meme, the top text, and the bottom text do not rhyme, which makes them difficult to understand in relation to each other.

Burning plastic has similar issues to fossil fuels, with all the waste ending up in our lungs.

Nuclear waste can be rendered inert in glassified casks, while having a much higher power density and reliability.

Just click on it? Really? For the life of me I couldn't figure that out, probably because single clicking does basically nothing in normal videos.

I don't want to use other apps, I want to read comments and descriptions. If I can't get context there's no reason for me to be there, and I may as well never open a short to begin with.

Everything about shorts are designed to shove more noise down your eyes, but I want to learn something. Even the community posts are better for that.

I am viewing it on a phone. Instead of having a usable UI and a viewable video, it takes every square mm of screen and shoves everything into a mess that can't be paused or minimised. It's hostile to any action that isn't consuming more.

Exactly this! Videos under 6 seconds are often pretty cool, but they player covers the video with buttons, shortcuts are all different, everything is so inaccessible, you get shouted at to consume the next video, and it either takes all the screen space or a tiny sliver.

It's like talking to a caffeine soaked squirrel.

Nah, 42,000$ is more natural and consistent with other units.

I think the active component in a Microwave Oven is called the Magnetron, not the element. Both are usually turned on and off for partial power though.
