I just wanted to add this piece of pure genius by some friends of mine. Maybe it helps to cope, maybe it helps to feel understood.

EDIT: I'm a musician myself and queer as fuck. ^^

May I add the town drunk Karl Bourbon?

And he never takes the helmet off.

This is the way!

I liked it a lot myself. Watched it without any expectations and I felt positively surprised by the movie.

I consider myself anti-religious, but I don't knock at your door at fucking 7:30 in the morning asking if you'd like to talk about atheism. I don't creep around public places handling out pamphlets promoting atheism. I don't deny people their rights to be moronic simpletons who can't think for themselves. I do, however, say 'go jump in a lake' to religious people whenever they bother me.

I consider every form of religion to be highly dangerous and I think every religious person is delusional, irrational and illogical, to say the least. I simply avoid them like the plague and mind my own business. It's a massive dealbreaker for any personal relationship with me. Nope, thanks. I don't need that in my life.

I can bend the top part of my thumbs 90 degrees backwards. It freaks people out when I do it. It doesn't feel odd or anything.

I've met Shane once in a small town pub in Ireland, just chilling out and the conversation I've had with him, dang, it will be something to remember for the rest of my life.

Found the fascist bot.

It turned out really well because my band mate and I produced all songs in a fairly short amount of time and thus the style of each song went well with all the others. It was more indie, too. The next album was released via a well known label and they kept pestering us with changes they wanted us to do. It felt too mainstream for me to be happy with the result.

Das nicht vegetarische Zeug ist Futter für den Hund - bevor ihr fragt. ;)

As a person who grew up in Ireland, being a drummer nerd myself, hats off! Such a sweet tribute to Shane. <3

Kennt eigentlich irgendjemand hier das tollste Buch von Douglas Adams? Last chance to see?

So, last night I had to attend a wake. I don't know if it's only a European thing, my sisters overseas might have to google that one up just in case, but yeah, it was odd. At some point one of my best friends waltzed in with this HUGE guy, like 2 meters tall, and his tiny wife went along as well. My good friend apparently told them who I am, and the huge ass guy and his tiny wife immediately went FAN MODE:

Yoooo, your album from 2008 is in our cupboard!

I'm a shy person and being this overwhelmed with fans, that was very strange and scary to me at first. But we had a good run. Just talking about music nonstop.

To me, which I could laugh about, was the fact that I'm doing very, very different music these days, playing a different instrument, just doing my thing and yeah, I had to share phone numbers with them so I can share what I'm doing now.

A really, really weird, but fun night. Music nerds meeting another music nerd... :D
