Dw, this will pass - there is too much passion in the project, and too many with stakes in it too. If it is installed on so many people's systems, we will have many people eager to see this continue also.

Reminder that percentages are different to absolute values. The percentage can be a strong indicator of a nation’s values.

Except the US did not expand eastward. Sovereign nations decided to protect each other, and Russia disliked that. It really is that simple.

Problem is discoverability. We all want Peertube to succeed, and they have excellent technology, but discovering content there is next to impossible. Otherwise its active user numbers would grow. It’s the same reason Bluesky - for all its flaws - succeeded where Mastodon failed.
