He's actually spot on but he should have said the silent part out loud. As in what that means for the US.

Morbid curiosity has me wondering what will happen if the entire world turns fascist, rather than just a couple of countries who get targeted by antifascist militaries from the rest of the world.

Morbid cynicism has me saying time will tell

In the image you can see the clown who declared he could cut their numbers in half. The silent part is that his grand scheme involves copying them to appeal to their voters (proven to be ineffective but whatever). In reality he's a textbook fascist enabler. I've been saying we're in no position to gloat regarding the US. If we had a two party system we'd already be fucked by now. Since we don't we still have a shot but I think there's sufficient proof that we can't rely on authoritarian assholes to do the legwork for us.

unless the aim is to get a revolution going across the Atlantic Ocean

More like displaying resistance and encouraging a change in direction by any means neccessary but yeah, I'd say companies putting pressure on the administration is a main objective here.

Russell Brand is also an alt right grifter. Weird how these things tend to go together.

Tacit consent is what that's called

"I thoroughly enjoy fucking around but can we do something about the finding out part"

Stack hope in one hand an shit in the other and see which piles up first. Hoping is reserved for people who didn't actively contribute to the current situation.

Genuinelly not that far off

Donald Trump had a plan. It was not a good plan, or even a plausible one. But it was, at least, a coherent plan:

  • Make a lot of noise ✅

  • Make a lot of money ✅

  • Tahiti?

So the headline is a bit misleading imho.

Given what Germany was up to in the 1930s I think "misleading" is putting it mildly 😅

I see a lot of politico links in this sub and I'd just like to say:

POLITICO Europe is a subsidiary of Axel Springer SE.

That's a right leaning and pretty unethical publisher and politico has already been caught several times spreading reactionary propaganda. I also suspect they publish undisclosed opinion pieces as news. Like some fossil fuel investor explaining how wind turbines could be hacked by China without providing any compelling evidence. Many articles are well written so it's hard to spot the grift sometimes. Just stay vigilant.
