"WELL I DON'T LIKE IT WHEN THEY WON'T HIRE WHITE PEOPLE WHO ARE MORE QUALIFIED"

They genuinely believe that white men are at a significant disadvantage in the workforce because DEI hires. No amount of memes or conversation will convince them how ridiculous that is.

It's to get cameras thrust in their face so they ask when oil executives will face consequences.

"Is destroying art worse than destroying the whole planet???"

It's an idiotic form of protest, it accomplishes nothing but turning the public against you, and forever associating your cause with petty vandalism.

The margins are thinner. There's almost no resale value. Someone might buy a 60k car and eat the payments for a few years, knowing that they can sell it any time for a decent price.

Buying a 60k EV is more like setting your money on fire. The car might be fine, great even, but it just won't hold it's value.

I will describe it, literally.

A man on a tiny motorcycle with a microwave on his head, closed covering his face, comes to a screeching halt in front of the camera, opening the door as he does. This reveals his face and a complicated mechanism to keep it on his head. He stands using the momentum of the motorcycle to propel him up and says, angrily "I know a lot of you hatin' motherfuckers want me to fail, but guess what? It ain't happenin! You know why? Cuz I got a motherfuckin microwave on my head!" He leans over to close the door, remounts his tiny motorcycle, and scoots away in to the city.

The insta that followed that one for me was this one, and this is singularly the most legendary thing I've ever seen another human being do

Movies are being made to mitigate risk. Take a polar thing and just do that again, that'll suck people in right???

God forbid they do something new and interesting with the material, that can't possibly work.

The only time I can think of where a remake ended up working out was with the recent planet of the apes movies. Where, you know, they took the premise and did something new and interesting with it. But even THEN, there was a completely different remake that failed to innovate outside of the last few minutes and those were confusing are best.

If he thinks packing boxes is skilled labor, then flipping burgers is also skilled labor.

It's just not specialized, and doesn't require any certification or further education. Which would command the premium he's thinking of.

There's a community that builds 3d printed guns, and those don't last very long either. They're not printing barrels, they're just printing the trigger housing and grip. They go out and buy the dangerous bits.

This is all a bit pointless.

Even more pointless when you consider that once you have a 3d printer, you can make a lot of the components for a second 3d printer, and go out and buy the other parts, without ever buying a 3d printer. Now you have two ghost gun machines!! Oh the horror.

Anakin has a clear motive, and a logical progression from naive to evil.

Danny just decides to lose her shit one day.

This is the bigger story.

So people who are more likely to get cancer shouldn't reproduce? What about people with asthma?

What about people lower on the socioeconomic scale?

If you follow your logic even a few steps it's gonna get real eugenics-y real fast.

I have ASD and ADHD, generally pretty happy to be here.

Autism is a spectrum and most of us are perfectly functional, happy, productive people.

It's nothing like pugs or pitbulls, frankly that's kind of offensive. You're likening us to a genetic mistake. Most of the time I find myself wondering why the neurotypicals are so goddamn dysfunctional.

Who the fuck do you think you are too suggest that I, and many of my friends, shouldn't exist?

You're describing eugenics, call it what it is. It's not my fault you have shitty bedfellows.
