It then gave these migrants “notices,” in English only, declaring that they would be deported immediately, without stating that they could contest their deportations in court.

Suddenly the executive order that English is the official language of the United States became a lot more clear in it's purpose.

But if they specifically call out Tesla, they get more clickbait engagement, plus it now qualifies as a tech story! Double win!

It's been a long time since I saw it, but I remember the Simpsons movie had a part about the NSA listening in on phone calls.

Come to think of it, I don't know if I really FEEL empathy. Like, maybe I do, but it's hard to say. In my mind, it simply comes down to this: if something shitty happens to me, I know what it feels like. Likewise, I know that other people would feel the exact same way. So if something shitty happens to another human being, it's not necessarily that I FEEL something for them, so much that I can imagine how I would feel in that same situation.

Yeah, I remember being really interested in DVORAK when I was younger. But when it comes down to it, my typing speed is not really something that is holding back my productivity, so there is little benefit to be gained from switching.

Yes, I have about a 75% chance to get a cough each autumn, which typically lasts around 3-4 months. The worst is when people who you are around constantly, like family, start expressing their annoyance. Sorry, it's not like I can just stop! And everyone says "just take some cough syrup". No, the cough syrup doesn't do shit!

I highly doubt you would have to pay anything if you cancel your service. I've never heard of anything like that around here, but rules can vary from place to place. You could find out with a call to the gas company though.

Most search engines allow you to specify that other nearby airports are ok. For example, kayak has a toggle that can be enabled to include nearby airports.

But if all else fails, just take note of a few of the airports and search for them directly.

I've been using Windows since the days of 3.1, practically my entire life. So I'm really comfortable with how windows operates and how to do the things that I want to do.

I've dabbled around with Linux over the years, but am now considering trying to make a full switch to it.

What are some resources to "learn" Linux properly? Such as understanding the filesystem, basic security practices, essential tools or commands, etc?
