for anyone looking for a cheap hobby, try coding, there are plenty of free resources to learn, and you can get started on almost any computer (or even an android phone!)

games! in maybe 95% of cases you can find an open alternative to some (non-game) software, but with games it's the opposite.

i would say that the main proprietary softwares i still use, are video games

it's that time of year again, and i was wondering if there were any free and open source alternatives to advent of code. i've searched a little in the past but to no avail, anyone know of one?
