It's been set aside for a bit for summer. We grow a lot of our own food so summer is for gardens and animals. I'll post more soon. I have another couple of pieces half completed but were interrupted by planting season. Thank you for following along.

Thank you so much.

Ooooh that's a tough question. There are so many good hammers. I think an old chasing hammer from auto body work that I found in the bottom of my father's hammer box (yup, that's just what it sounds like, a big old wooden box full of hammers, glad it wasn't a bag...har har) when I was cleaning up the old tools. I was a little aggressive with it last week and it needs a new handle now but that's not anything I can't fix right here on my own.

Vagden knee high wool socks from JB fields. They certainly are great socks.

Welcome back to jellies!

A wonderful Lemmy user ordered this custom jellyfish several months ago. It's been a long time coming and he has been very gracious about it all which I am very thankful for.

It's made from hand pounded, recycled copper and local beach finds. It takes me about 40-50 hours in total to make one. This one is about 23 x 23 x 36 cm or 9 x 9 x 14 inches. They have been getting larger each go round as the originals were made for a 4" x 5" art show and sale. The next 3 will be even larger and are in process right now.

You can check out my profile for other copper artistic creations including the original 3 jellies I created in December/January for an art show and other fun stuff I like to create.

There's always a next time.

That's because typically when tested against grocery store/mass produced food it is found to be much higher and diverse in nutrients.

Find a local farmers market. Guaranteed fresher product. Locally grown so less travel. Support a small business. Get a much better greens experience.

There is no testing anymore for food products in the US. All those who were responsible for testing have been fired. All imports to Canada are affected because testing on fresh food items aside from a few items is done in the US.prior to import. That testing is not repeated in Canada.

Found this hanging in the little kitchen thing at my kids Jiu Jitsu gym today (boxing, Jiu Jitsu and muay thai). It used to be a community center/church hall until recently. While I was making lunch for a seminar I spotted this gem and brought it home.

I Made it better with some gloves and belts. Now I will rehang it and see who notices.

The boss is always staring at me...

Jellies 4, 5, 6 & 7 are on the way!

A fellow Lemmy user has ordered a jelly based on my last works so I decided I should make a few more.

These will be the tops for 4 new jellies that should be complete in a week or two.

Welcome to jellies!

Jellies #1,2 and 3 were pieces I made for a local art show this winter. They are constructed of reclaim hand pounded copper and local beach wood and stones.

All sold

Commissioned custom jellies available on order.

I finally got a Lemmy sign in for just art stuff. You can contact me here for any inquiries about purchases or custom work. I've been transitioning from American social media and making new fedi accounts and spreading them about. I enjoy sharing my work here and Is m just looking for a new way to reach people with my artistic endeavors.

I should also add I am happy to arrange barter for goods or services as opposed to cash for art pieces.
