Succession for me. I couldn’t stand it. The acting always felt way too self-conscious, like “look at me acting my ass off” instead of anything natural. The dialogue and humor felt really try-hard too, and I hated the cinematography, especially all those weird close-up shots.

The summer solstice is coming up, and I always rewatch Midsommar (2019) on that day.

fem guys already relate to content targeted toward women since their lived experience is closer to that than to the typical man, so no exclusion.

men often do this. post is about something women related -> "but what about the men?". we don't have a duty or obligation to include men in every single conversation. men can also create their own content/conversations, and they should. hijacking/inserting themselves just reeks of insecurity and misogyny.

edit and just to be clear: anyone who finds this post relatable is more than valid and welcome, regardless of gender. it’s just the act of explicitly turning it into a “won’t somebody please think of the men?” thing that really grinds my gears.

  1. the experiences of boys and girls in society aren't comparable.

  2. this post is about girls, going "but what about the boys?" on it is just misogyny.

cause traditionally/stereotypically feminine things are seen as stupid, useless, and cringe while masculine ones are seen as serious, deep, and respectable.

trans people also show that being a man is seen as an "upgrade" while being a woman a "downgrade" (trans men don't get a fraction of the hate trans women do). same thing with tomboys-femboys.

plus, a man and woman could do the exact same thing (being assertive for example) & the perception will be different (woman - bitch, man - boss).

birdwatching is awesome

thank you for this, actually. i don't give my posts much thought, my style is stream of consciousness combined with yapping. fun analysis to read.🫶

The court’s shaded and I play in the morning, so overheating isn’t really an issue. Then it’s straight into the pool afterward.

I don’t see how it’s bragging. Everyone has their own lives, so the answers are bound to vary. It’s 9 a.m. and I was just thinking about how much I enjoy doing this every morning, which got me wondering what other people are into these days.

To kick things off: morning tennis in a bikini, followed by some time in the pool. I’m having a blast with my summer fling at his place in the south of France.

that’s exactly what I’m doing rn, living my daddy fantasy this summer. plus, I asked my dad to set me up with someone, so the guy I’m seeing is vetted and my dad knows him well, which makes me feel super safe and comfortable. i’ll probably get hate for this on here, but it is what it is.😌
