I have lived in Europe and I know that can be a viable option for many people. But there are many places in the US where there are no real alternatives to a car. I have lived in my house for 18 years, bought at the beginning of 2007 before the market bubble popped and haven't been able to afford to move since then. In 18 years I have seen exactly two people riding a bike near my home and I sometimes wonder if they're still alive.

Yes - housing, food and transportation are beyond my means
Jesus did it after his resurrection too. Appeared in a locked room full of people. Appeared and disappeared more than once. I think there's at least one additional instance that wasn't mentioned in the other comment but I don't keep this top of mind. It's not like it's common in the Bible, but apparently it is in the realm of possibility.
Personally - and this goes to crazy theory BS, I wonder if the tower of Babel wasn't trying to reach the stars not by building tall enough to exit the atmosphere, but rather by teleporting there? There are some crazy theories about the age and purpose of the pyramids (it's super unlikely they were tombs). Could that have been it? I also wonder if levitation was in the mix. What if ancient man was ridiculously smarter than we are? We dismiss people living to 900+ years old, but if you lived that long and also knew Adam who walked with God, who knows what the fuck you could do? I know it's crazy as anything but I don't mind letting my brain go to crazy "what if"s.
I mean it's in the context. They're shutting down rare mineral resources but given a few years other countries can replace those supplies. If China wants to cripple certain abilities, they probably want to act before we have found workarounds for their actions. Also, as crazy as Trump has seemed so far, the US is nowhere near uninfluential. Yet. He gained influence during his last term. I wouldn't write him off as completely insane just yet.
This makes me think they're going to move on Taiwan sooner rather than later.
There is teleportation in the Bible. Humanity just needs to up their game.
Honestly it was the politically correct word in the 80s, although it was simultaneously used as a slur. A lot of those people are still alive and just hate having to constantly change to new language.
And yet somehow food is the only place their culture falls behind.
I know what I said.
Understandable. Can't argue either way. I'm over 50, both choices might kill me and I completely approve.
That's not even a big one by US standards.
I once was lost but now I am found
