You know it's funny that Microsoft took this feature from Apple from macOS. But here's the thing right? This shit requires a super computer npu to run and meanwhile my 2012 MacBook Pro with a core i5 3rd gen running opencore legacy patcher can just do this stuff in the exact same way. For the features one would actually wanna use this for.

I am also running the latest version of GrapheneOS and cannot for the love of me get RCS to work. Like it always briefly works until it turns itself off af. Maybe there is a problem with my MVNO not paying Google for Jibe? (Yeah this is probably the case as it says that RCS is managed by my carrier after giving Messages a certain permission to verify my hardware and operating system strings). That's kinda shitty but whatever.

Yeah that's the thing that people who want this don't realize. Is that you are forced to use Google Messages with Google Jibe for RCS. But it's really picky about the hardware it runs on Android wise. It won't even let me send RCS messages on GrapheneOS which is a custom rom that forces you to have a unrooted version of Android. So to me this is monopolistic and terrible behavior on Google's part. Where they force carriers and now Apple to pay billions of dollars just to message Android users with end to end encryption. But like it doesn't run on my phone because you need a stock up to date version of Android that isn't too out of date either or else it also won't run. Nor does it run on my Android 11 flip phone because it's too out of date and has been blocklisted by Google as a whole. Honestly if Google just opened up Jibe to third party apps I would use it. But with the forced AI integration that you can barely turn off among other things. I'll probably stick to textra and switch away from using a smartphone as a whole when carriers in the United States demand that your phone support it in order to use it on their network.

Yes it is really this bad and in a lot of cities there is even anti homeless architecture being built. Entire cities in the United States basically got turned into suburbs and roads overnight. For many Americans they cannot even walk outside their neighborhood without having the police get called on them in their own suburban sprawl or getting a gun legally pulled on them and potentially legally killed with no recourse on the shooter. This country is hell on Earth minus our theme parks and local parks and some of the cities that still exist normally today.

Too bad I live in hell country. Where there are no sidewalks or public transportation just roads and we have facist dipshits bought out by big car companies. I would love to take a train or a bus but that stuff doesn't exist here and never will until we re-educate and remake America from the ground up. America is just too far gone at this rate to even want these public transportation services at all or even bike-lanes. Cities would rather destroy themselves for big top stores anyway and highways thinking they are a good thing only to realize that will ensure they will cease to be alongside their local businesses. I'm sorry but I'm forced to walk on the road and nearly get run over legally speaking with zero repurcussions from the driver side because I shouldn't of been walking on the road anyway.

I mean Elon was a 4chan user at some point and probably still mostly to inflate his ego from time to time. So it makes sense.
