What do you think of Qobuz? From what I've seen, it's got more stuff than bandcamp (at least from my library). It seems to pay the artists well too.

For starters, you can buy a steam gift card with cash. Then buy whatever you like with the card.

But i actually meant it more broadly, you can also use cash for other transactions where you are physically present.

I dislike how much power visa and mastercard have gotten, and cash is probably the best alternative for offline private transactions.

I guess it's because one of these things is a widely used tool, a requirement for work / living in the USA and gives people freedom.

Part of the fun of watching stuff isn't because it "customised to me" it's sharing an experience with the creator(s) and friends, family etc.

I see genAI being used as a tool for creators but not as an automation of content creation.
