I think you're correct, if Trump orchestrates all of that (Sliwa and Adams both dropping out) without explicitly endorsing, that could be a threat. But Trump is toxic waste in NYC. Of course everywhere has their share of assholes, but NYers have a long memory for crises specifically. Trump deliberately targeted them during covid, bragged about his building height during 9/11, I could go on. They hate his guts way more than they hate Cuomo.

I can't think of anything more campaign sinking than an endorsement from Trump in an NYC mayoral race (that Cuomo already lost within his own proported party).

Recycling plastics specifically. Aluminum recycles amazingly well, and glass decently, so keep recycling those!

I don't know if you're correct or not but regardless, this argument definitely sounds like that doctor who told John Green it's not normal to sneeze

There's not a panecea to fascism through minority democratic process. Gumming up the works is the most they can do within the system.

Fuck that guy- if you see someone collecting signatures for this, give them an earful!

I agree with the general trend of advice in this thread, but I'm going to go one step further: monetizing your hobbies is a very good way to get burnt out on those hobbies. Finding good work that you enjoy is important! But you should also have some things that are just for you.

Some people are asexual but not aromantic, and some people can't have sex due to medical issues, so there are plenty of people out there who separate these! A lot of folks do experience them as entangled experiences, and that's fine too. What's important is finding what parts work for you, and a partner that is compatible with that if applicable.

I think it's perfectly reasonable to argue that "real" name doesn't mean "legal" name (unless stated elsewhere in the agreement). "Real" should refer to non-fraudulent, not a pseudonym, etc. A trans person's "preferred" name is their real name for these purposes. I hope this youtuber gets this decision reversed asap.

Cadmium telluride might also be of interest

And this is your reminder that this series is being made to enrich known transphobe JK Rowling and take away money from the original cast members who stood up to her about her hate. Any money she gets from this series literally goes to lobbying against trans rights in the UK (see the recent court decision she funded, as well as her setting up an independent fund for further cases).

If you give any money to watch this series you cannot pretend to support trans rights!
