I have to hide the general news thread for this month because the news were unfortunately getting to me but overall, still kind of sad but pushing through.

It should rightfully go the way of South African Apartheid and Rhodesia but we all know the sick Zionists would rather destroy the world before allowing that to happen. Come what may but Palestine shall be free.

It's only slightly easier to avoid it where I'm from because my family cares only whether if our home country is participating so I won't be hearing too much about the World Cup beyond my dad's occasional curiosity.

But yeah, don't care to watch it live or anything. Can't really say I'm boycotting it when I haven't been interested in it in the first place.

I share your sentiments. My thoughts has been harming me with alot of doomerism over whether we will see the fall of the genocidal state and the liberation of Palestine within our lifetime. Reading any Israel news that has just been nothing but "they continue to commit atrocities with little repercussions". In the positives, Hezbollah continues to be a successful thorn and should be commemorated but they too will likely have limits and it's hard to tell if it will swing back to Israel's favor simply because they are funded by the most shameless, disgusting, but still wealthy and powerful U.S. empire.

However, I do think it's helpful to take a step back and ruminate about how we can take those feelings into something that can produce productive results. By all means, do take a break, go sleep, or even distract yourself for just a few minutes to get your thoughts in order.

It's fine to be sad and angry, you should be. We are helpless depending on where we are but the fall of Israel and Zionism will not come in a day. Engaging in wantless doomerism and adventurism will only entrench the genocidal state.

I am a bit miffed they got second place but being denied first and still effectively hated by the audience will have to do.

It's nice to read this reality check after just a barriage of news on the damn Zionists commiting atrocities without any reprisal. Obviously, things are still horrid in Palestine and Southern Lebanon but it's nice to see some aspects of their failures while everywhere on the internet moves to slience their critics and failures.

They have spent quite a bit building up to it so it really is a matter of when they are ready to go. I can only hope that if it does happen in full, that Iran would completely humiliate them for their hubris but even so the empire will always destroy on their way in and out.
