I've used freetaxusa.com for a few years now. It's not exactly free, not for how I file taxes anyway, but it's cheaper than something like TurboTax.

I tried playing Splinter Cell online. I was killed several times by an invisible player. I promptly logged off and never went back to online games.

It's a pretty easy move, tbh. Start with a user-friendly distro and don't look back. The only Windows install I have left is my work laptop and I absolutely hate it.
