Rn i do mapping without pprofits, over 10000 things added + more changed\fixed, but i would like to do both if it possible and be helpful for both - for city councils, emergency services, logistic companies and so on

Hi there!

I like to spend my evenings mapping world, city and transportation, but wonder myself if there any kinda non-profit or small organizations that donate tips to local map contributors?

Maybe some city councils, emergency services, logistic companies and so on?

Thanks a lot

Yeah, i do this way always , but maybe i don't get write it correct in English (not my born language) Let me try to change a chapter:

The way you described used by me all the time, line touches polygon in two points where it can be cutted and worked on forward very well (anyway thanks!)

But, if you draw a line that touches multypolygon - cut tool ain't works in places it touches multypolygon (not allowed - showed as gray)

well i difenetley do not want to draw polygon \ area because i would need to go by clicking lake coast points wich are a lot of points with crazy geometry and then only get it to forest area

Hello dear friends!

Pls, may wonder how can i, and ever i create a polygon (woods) by drawing a line (white one without tags) in web0-editor iD?

if i delete dependencies from lake-coast (wich is multypolygon by itself) and then cut it on fist and second forming dot's - then i can create new multypolygon from 2 lines but after doing so - lake is gone completely

Hope for help

  • Maybe anyone can reccomend YouTube or other sources tutorial video's for web-editor iD?

Thank you

Thanks, i tryed it , and it was unsucessful. Maybe developers find a time to do smth like Relatify in Web-editor of their version

Hi!

After Heltec released v4.3 revision , it was impossible to use power-saving firmwares because 4.3 does work properly only on 2.7.21 or higher

Can anybody help with making one m1nl firmware rewriting existing ones?

like here (m1nl above) https://mrekin.duckdns.org/ or

topic here https://github.com/meshtastic/firmware/pull/7121

Thanks a lot

Hi!

If there any guide how i can add bus route on OSM (in Web version of editor) ?

Seems now it's quite complicated and yet there no plans to make it simpler in Web interface?

If it would be like: you push "create route (bus or whatever)" -> choose road and select bus stops on it one way. Also, you do same from end stop to backward

Really hope developers could do that favor 📿

Thanks

I mean, yeah, but why Organic Maps or CoMaps not take Transitous\Bimba and put it over on existing maps?
