Lol I was telling a coworker about that the other day and they called me a weirdo. Best way to eat popcorn and keep your hands clean!

My stove won't preheat, I guess because it's a safety issue. Apparently you can set a remote start capability ahead of time that gets reset if you open the over door. But I've never tried it, since that seems like a lot.

I'm starting to think having my dick out this whole time hasn't been working.

I got new appliances a couple weeks ago and they're all "smart". Turns out a smart microwave just sends you a phone notification when it's done. By default.

As someone with multiple people living in the house, I can confidently say this is the dumbest "smart" feature ever. Promptly disabled.

That's exactly what I was expecting! I wrote down everything I needed. Took some pictures. Went to a buddies house and had him look at my list and pics. Then went to the store, bought the water heater and pieces, and got it all in one shot.

It's the closest I've ever come to greatness.

Awesome! I replaced my water heater a couple years ago - and managed to do it with just a single trip to Home Depot! Felt like a goddamn boss.

Still mad that they fucked up KSP2. I realize it was a different studio, but I'm not happy about it.

55.1 percent of Americans viewed Elon Musk unfavorably, while 37 percent had a favorable opinion

How is this possible? I'm convinced you can do the worst shit imaginable and 30% of people will still support it, no matter what.

I wake up every day asking that same question.

When Chipotle got a new CEO (Brian Niccol, who has since become the Starbucks CEO) a few years back, they were headquartered in Denver. But the CEO lived in Newport Beach. So they brought in a consulting management firm to examine where the best place in the country was for them to have their corporate headquarters.

After weeks of analysis - surprise, surprise - they determined that the best place they could possibly have a corporate headquarters was in Newport Beach, where the CEO lived.

So they fired most of their corporate workers and moved the office to be closer to the CEOs house.

NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte called President Donald Trump "Daddy" on Wednesday, reacting to the president's recent use of expletives when he accused Iran and Israel of violating a ceasefire agreement.

Early Wednesday morning during a bilateral meeting between Trump and Rutte during the NATO Summit in The Hague, Netherlands, Trump likened the countries of Israel and Iran to "two kids in a schoolyard" that had a "big fight."

"You know, they fight like hell. You can't stop them. Let them fight for about two-three minutes, then it's easy to stop them," he continued.

Rutte raised eyebrows when he interjected, "Daddy has to sometimes use strong language to get them to stop."

...

Yet the White House continues to embrace the "daddy" title, posting on X a video compilation of Trump's NATO trip set to the tune of Usher's "Hey Daddy (Daddy's Home)" with the accompanying text: "Daddy's home… Hey, hey, hey, Daddy."

Ramos says 38% of the U.S. military are noncitizens, and believes thousands are being deported for non-violent crimes.

Holy shit that's wild. I had no idea the numbers were that high. I always knew the military targeted poor people, but didn't realize how nearly half of them weren't citizens.

Greene's squabble with Grok happened after the Georgia lawmaker posted about her Christian faith on X, writing: "I'm a Christian, an imperfect sinner saved by grace and faith in Jesus. I'm a nationalist, a proud American, who loves my country and wants to make our home nation is the best place for all American citizens and future generations to come." ...

Another X user ran Greene's post through Grok, asking the AI bot, "[I]s is true? Is she really a Christian?"

Grok responded by saying that while Greene "identifies as a Christian" by expressing her faith in Jesus Christ and having traditional beliefs, "her Christian nationalism and support for conspiracy theories, like QAnon, spark debate."
