There is a significant portion of the US that supports all this.
US of the past is the only nation to ever nuke an adversary. It wasn't necessary either. It was a show of force that could have been as effective if detonated at sea.
There "acceptable loss" calculations being made by all parties atm.
Trump is out golfing while the rest of us are trying to deal with chaos going on. This all starts up again Monday.

If I was the US military I'd be troubled by the fact the President doesn't recognize how irresponsible and dangerous this all is.
