I did this kind of self-exploration at one point. I used to find all my meaning through work, which I later realized was leaving me feeling unfulfilled. So I lowered my professional ambitions in favor of focusing on the relationships I had with close friends and family.
Then I changed genders. And then those relationships got completely fucked up. And now I feel like I have nothing left to live for.
So I guess if you're looking for meaning, my advice would be to pick something that doesn't depend on other people.
Tetris 99. It's like racing side by side with 98 other Sisyphuses to see who can get their boulder up the hill most efficiently.
You'll have to put something up over them to keep people from trying to jump into them, like birds flying into windows.

But fucking fuck. Can we put a stop to this? Legally? We could call it sometime like... The National Opt-out Policy Elimination (NOPE) Act or something.
I feel like it's probably worse than this. It should start with "I read about this thing called 'choking to death'".
Or better yet, take out "choking to death" (which can happen) and insert some made-up bullshit like "choking so hard your eyeballs pop out".
