It’s not even close to as insecure as a physical lock.

Yes it is. There are locks out there, that have extremely sophisticated keys that are basically impossible to clone or "break in". The way those locks are cracked or opened is nearly always unrelated to the key itself. Same goes for Encryption. Even a "simple" 20 Characters password is near impossible to brute force. Most entry points are through various other ways, which is also why i find GrapheneOS for the average user stupid.

There are other things that are needed to actually protect privacy and one of the main things it awareness. Just because stuff is sandboxed and you have some Ad-Blockers on, doesn't mean shit these days.

Hi, I recently bought an Epson Ecotank ET-4850. Pretty happy actually with the printer itself, scanning quality is also quite good. However - it has a fatal flaw that i was not aware of.

I had an Epson WF-3620 that was able to scan to a folder, where Paperless-NGX then could do it's magic. The ET-4850 doesn't support scanning to a folder. It does support WSD, but that's not really convenient...

Is there a way to do all this with a Raspberry Pi or another device that's connected to the MFD?

The writer isn't advocating to ban them now, no one is.

I am.

Synthetic fuels are viable (in some countries you are already able to buy them), many countries around the world still subsidize oil production - stop thhose subsidiaries, put them in Synthetic fuels, make splitting a part of the co2 that's being pulled from the air mandatory and we've solved a lot of issues, because now there not only an alternative, there a solution for getting co2 out of the atmosphere. Porsche does it, Neste (not to be confused with Nestlé!) as well, CAC started the pilot production as well...it works, it's viable, it's not that much more expensive and most countries have some form of co2 tax on products made from oil anyway.

Ban fossile fuels after 2030 and fuck all those greedy oil companies sideways.

Before i got my Pixel 6 Pro, i've been running Custom Roms on everything. The Pixel 6 Pro is probably the first device, i'm actually okay running Stock. It just does what it should. And i'll be honest, the hassle of getting it to work properly (Banking, Netflix, etc) is just too much for my everyday phone...Google really did a number on that one, both positive and negative. I kind of hate it...
