The big ones are at state capitols. For those that can't make it to their capitol, there are smaller protests in places of high traffic...so yeah, intersections and bridges.

Every Texan I know has a generator to deal with the unreliability of the grid, and there's never been an article about someone in Iowa getting a surprise $100k electric bill...and the average wage in Texas is substantially lower than in "left wing" states like California or Washington...so not sure you're making an apples-to-apples comparison, but time will be the judge, we can all check-in in a year and see how this plays out. Does Lemmy have a remind me! bot?

I need extensions way too much to use something built from scratch, so as Firefox joins the enshittification bandwagon, what's the best Firefox-based browser I should check out?

Way to get around ISP blocking port 80 (lemmy.today)
 

I'm trying to host a few docker services from my house, but my IP appears to be blocking port 80, so the only way to get a domain working that I've found is domainname.com:portnumber (I have port forwarding set up in my router, and can reach a wide range of ports, but not 80).

It looks like cloudflare will point sites to my IP but not ports, and because I can't reach port 80, I can't figure a way to route things through NGINX proxy manager on the same box.

Is there a free external service I can use as a reverse proxy to point requests to specific ports on my self-hosted box? Or else, is there another way to make my sites useable without the enduser having to specify ports?

Being mad about this instead of Dave Coulier "dating" Alanis Morisette when he was in his 30s and she was 17 is like being mad at Obama about wearing a tan suit and not all the drone bombings or mass-deportations.
