If that is stated somewhere openly before signing up, I honestly see nothing wrong with it. I wouldn't sign up there, but if there are any tangible rules associated with what is banned and what is not, and you can check those, fine.

If its erratic banning and random rules not written down, then eh, bad stuff.

Thanks for sharing that info! I was wondering about it since I just finished Dark Forces via the Force Engine. Guess this will be next on my list, loved playing it when it came out!

...acted swiftly by destroying more than half of the male toilets.

The last and only time I visited L.A. was more than 15 years ago, already then I was amazed at the lack of public transport. Was one of the only big US cities I visited on my trip where I really had to rely on my rental car, it was impossible getting anywhere with public transport.

You are telling me this has not improved whatsoever after all this time?

Maybe you should ask yourself why "your discord" attracts so many racists, regardless of their nationality.

Maybe should add that these are accessed via the desktop mode, discovery store. Then they need to be added as non-steam game to start them outside desktop mode.

That's hilarious. Allows you to burn it. Doesn't allow you to just directly download it.

I seriously hate that saying so much. Online it keeps getting used to justify the shittiest compromises.

In the sense of "Instead of the machine crushing all orphans, it now just crushes all non-white orphans. That's progress! Don't let perfect be the enemy of good!".

Uuugh.

I know it is a meme, but I feel this is a little too belittling of climate change being responsible for increase in temperature. Like, I can see this unironically shared on Facebook and twitter with people being "hurrdurr, fake climate change, heat comes from sun!!!".

I've been thinking about organising my growing library a bit, mostly to mark games I consider as completed.

But also to mark games I played but lost interest in, or games I've finished together with my kids instead of myself alone.

I started doing that in Steam but as I added games via GOG or Epic Games store, or emulators, Steam and would lose their tags (or rather their belonging to a collection) as soon as I uninstalled them.

Also if as a bonus the system could suggest new games based on what I finished or maybe based on ratings I give, that would be nice but not necessary.

Is there any straightforward solution to use? Either general something device-independent or specifically on the Steamdeck locally. Can also selfhost software if there is anything good.

How are you all doing that?
