Which movie are you referring to?

Super interesting! Have you tasted it; can you describe the flavor?

Chartreuse (US: /ʃɑːrˈtruːz, -ˈtruːs/ ⓘ, UK: /-ˈtrɜːz/, French: [ʃaʁtʁøz]) is a French herbal liqueur that has been made by Carthusian monks since 1737, reportedly according to instructions set out in a manuscript given to them by François Annibal d'Estrées in 1605.[1] It was named after the monks' Grande Chartreuse monastery, located in the Chartreuse Mountains north of Grenoble, France. Today the liqueur is produced in their distillery in nearby Aiguenoire. It is composed of distilled alcohol aged with 130 herbs, plants and flowers, and sweetened, though the exact recipe is known only to select monks. The color chartreuse takes its name from the drink.

Fair point, but out of the box KDE has pretty sane defaults these days. It's a very inoffensive desktop.

I have just a couple customizations that I do immediately on a fresh install, but it certainly wouldn't kill me to use it as it comes.

Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger has signed a bill that will cease renewals of license plates honoring Robert E. Lee and the Sons of Confederate Veterans.

Delegate Dan Helmer, who represents part of Fairfax County, sponsored the bill. House Bill 1344 says that all license plates still on the street are valid until their expiration, but will not be renewed.

“Virginia needs to end itself of being in the business of celebrating traitors who killed American soldiers to defend slavery,” he said in a video. “That’s not who we need to be as a country, that’s not where we need to go, and we’re going to finish the job of making sure that America is about celebrating all Americans, an inclusive vision for a country and democracy that is for all of us.”

It was added after Trump took office. There were articles about it. Apparently labeling doorways is helpful for dementia patients, and many people took this as a sign of dementia.

Here is one of the articles. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/trump-s-new-oval-office-label-sparks-dementia-rumors-to-keep-him-from-getting-lost/ar-AA1PSNV6

V for Vendetta , but if you live in the US some aspects are currently uncomfortably believable.

Not as old as most movies people are mentioning, but also Sinners - it surpassed the hype IMO.

This is a terrifyingly ridiculous timeline we find ourselves in.

I remember going on road trips as a kid and the windshield and grill of the car would get hammered with bugs during the summer. Now it's so rare to see a bug splat on the windshield that it's conversation worthy when it happens.

I'm hoping I just missed something.

When the vampires first show up there is this big deal about them needing to be invited in. We see it with the first vampire guy, and then they made a big deal about it with Cornbread.

Sometime later, when the vampires suddenly decide they are done fooling around and invade the juke joint to try killing everyone, why are they able to do it with no invitation? Did I somehow miss that someone accidentally invited them in?

I just watched it last night for the first time and this was the only thing that kind of bugged me about it.
