I picked up a Denon DNP-730AE network audio player on ebay and I run Tiny-DLNA on my server where the music files and playlists are stored.

Works great and sounds great.

I have a Steam deck and I have problems like this when I use the official dock on my main monitor.

However, I have no problems with other monitors or a 3rd party dock with the same monitor.

All that to say I would try new cables, a different dock, etc but thats just a guess.

A while ago I did this by making a custom wallpaper with a box on it and set the capture region to the box.

If you ran this as a non-root user then you didn't move any system files you just made some copies. Delete the new copies and you should be fine.

I use nix for extra packages on my linux desktop. I don"t like brew at all.

I was considering applying to Canonical but I'm not so sure after reading this. I have a hard time taking a company seriously that requires psuedo scientific personality tests.

You can do this easily with Tailscale or a similar wiregaurd vpn.

Rice Bran oil is my fave with a smoke point of 232 °C (450 °F) and it holds up a long time. I also use it for deep frying. Its not well known in the west and its really great.

It is easier than you think.

I never said how easy I think it is so what are you basing this response on?

I wouldn't even think about charging anyone for anything until you get it all setup and dialed in with backups, etc and are sure you know how to keep the service running.

Then write a howto instead of asking here. That shouldn't take much.

Yesterday the handle to the freezer door broke off in my hand as I was openning it.

I've had it for 10 years so it did laat a while.

I was able to find and order the part online from a local vendor and to my surprise it arrived this afternoon (ordered last night around 19:00).

I looked up the instructions and almost laughed at how simple it is. Installed in less than a minute.

Very satisfying!
