also call it Johnson Shutdown, that is what he clearly is doing when he stopped all procedures for a week in the house. Which I must say is a crucial part of the legislative branch and he efficiently shutdown the government for a week. Anytime this happens again which it will, due to the senate tariff bill heading to the house and if it is brought to the floor by a measure to discharge from committee and passes, he'll clearly do it again. So let give it a name to blame Mike Johnson for shutting down the government and call it Johnson Shutdown.

Itching, he wants to invoke it, using specifically the insurrection act of 1807, tomorrow they may push it earlier then 90 days since it was always part of project 2025 and also due the senate most likely passing a bill to limit his power for tariff by needing approval from them to be used, so they enact it just a bit earlier to make sure national emergency still exist. Don't be surprised if it is invoked as this was always planned as part of project 2025.
