A cult is basically just a religion that is not large or old enough to force people to take it seriously. It just so happens that small, new religions are also extremely volatile and unstable and prone to extremely stupid decisions

I guess technically, but the LLM doesn't have access to anything, so the only real consequence would be an inaccurate summary

Lodge 49, Lodge 49, Lodge 49! Probably one of my top 5 shows in the last decade. Every single review I have ever seen both professional and rando cannot stop raving about it, but still nobody watched it. I think mostly because it's kind of hard to describe and doesn't fit cleanly into any particular box.

Only downside is that it suffered a pretty sudden cancellation after season 2 was shot, so there is no satisfying resolution. Although Wyatt Russell has said repeatedly that he'd drop absolutely any project for a chance to revive it

#1 and 3, definitely, although 3 is usually not really the IDEs fault.

The others, either not really (#2, 5), who cares, (#4), or maybe occasionally but not really specific to IDEs (#6).

Cauliflower ear is pretty manly I guess

I didn't even know there were user avatars. Most common apps don't show them.

I don't think I understand the question. People invented it?

Yeah, again, I'm not saying that's not a thing, man. Just that's not what carrot vs stick metaphor is about

While this is definitely a thing from cartoons, the carrot/stick thing is absolutely referring to hitting the donkey. The whole point is punishment vs reward...

Yes, way, way more. Go look at how big a quarry is, compared to a mountain, and realize that took years and years of work from equipment that probably costs more than that by itself

I think he means, is there any value to it? Bc otherwise the cost is colossal and nobody's gonna level a mountain just to develop on the land

Is this supposed to be some kind of parody to make a point? Not a very good one
