Your experience is interesting, because where I am it absolutely is a shortage. Most stores are putting a limit of 1 dozen eggs per customer because it was getting so bad. The only place where I can reliably find eggs is the farmer's market and the organic store.

Depends on how seriously they take things like Trump, le Pen in France, and AfD. Not looking great so far, but hopefully we start seeing something soon.

See, the problem is that your words are what we've heard every single time someone wants to be slightly less fascist in this country for the past 2 decades. If you'd rather concern troll than actually affect change, then fuck off and wait for ICE to come grab you.

Just Putin and Putin.

You're right, but don't be snarky.

Changes to the free part of Android (AOSP) is no longer going to be constantly publicly accessible. Google will release the source code once development on that branch is done. The code is (eventually) open source, but not constantly. It is kind of a damp squib, though.

Not until they find some other way to make extremely concerning, bordering-on-treason actions sound like a toddler dropping their milkshake on the ground.

That was 10 years ago. DHS is the Gestapo you're seeing now, courtesy of the Patriot Act. They've already sworn fealty to Trump. People are looking at January 6th as an isolated event, but it proved how far the right-wing could get if they wanted to forcefully take over the government.

They're getting in on the ground floor.

Rude. To 14 year olds, that is.

So basically you just have to prove that you weren't filing frivolously. Sounds like a decent bar to clear.

MTG's district is the 14th of Georgia. It has a population (according to Wikipedia) of 796,193. She won her election with 64.4% of the votes. Even if we had 100% voter representation (lol we most certainly do not), that means that 512,748 or so people voted for her. Again according to Wikipedia, the US' population is at about 340M. That means that at most 0.15% of the country voted for her.

She also originally won her election because she jumped from a different district in Georgia to the 14th, whose incumbent had announced was not running for re-election. So no, she doesn't represent anything approaching a majority of the US; if anything she represents everything that is wrong with our current voting system.

The US auto market is already no longer competitive. This is just the nail in the coffin.
