How about switching to infrastructure where you have to push money to these companies instead of them pulling money from you? Use Monero.

No, it can't. It's built into the protocol and enforced. On other currencies such as Zcash, you can turn off privacy if you wish. But on Monero, it's not possible to opt out at all. You either have privacy or you don't use it at all.

So you mean they want windows to have something that Linux has had for 20 years? Android has also had this since ~2017 too.
