Looks like they didn't pay enough protection money.

I'm amazed they made it the whole way. Still impressive.

'opt in'

Yeeeaa i don't believe that for one damned minute.

tl;dr: Folks want to use ancestry to see where and how it goes. What do they need to know? Is there anything to avoid?

I'm not wild on the idea of submitting DNA swabs for a lot of reasons, the recent issues with genealogy.com's data being a great example. What of tracing family tree by liniage?

  1. The free trial STATTS with 'sign in using the following services' I haven't gone past that point because I don't want to hand anything over til they show me where they want payment information, because free trials are seldom free and.

  2. The payment page for full signups constnatly 'reassure' that you don't have to do anything each month it auto renews. my family's gotten burned on auto renewals before where the other end basically refused to stop taking money out in spite of trying to end services.

  3. Anyone know about the library edition how to find out what libraries have access to that and what's needed to sign in that way?

Fuck that. Those cars should be banned here in america.

Not gonna lie though. The honda cub looked all kinds of fun as a buzz around bike. Nothing to prove, just 'here is a little city road burner.

90's teenager: Corrupt government that was a maker of cheap goods and claimed to be first in everything ever and had the most bestest smartest refined cultureal history compared to us heathen backwater westerners.

THere's reasons I struggle with looking past my own mindset whenever anything china related in the sciences pop up, as my first thought is 'is there independant verfication there to prevent it from just being government propaganda bullshit?'

....kinda like i'm having to start doing with any 'official' anything here stateside now.

My twin and my sister are both incapable of work and full time care.

Mom pulls up ONE person on tiktok whining their brand new care has to be given up so they can stay on SSI as proof the whole system is infested by scammers.

Oh but it CAN be measured.

It is simply that value is too short for what you need it to be.

Man here I thought I had it bad when I ended up waking up on the couch and a brand new bag of barbeque chips was gone.

sleepwalking me needs to stop pigging out.

that is a fairly blunt assessment. 'Correction' is not a binary after all.

After cateracts surgery I've got 20/80 vision in my better eye. Technically both eyes.

HOWEVER.

I have no useable depth perception. The retina on my left eye is swiss cheesed with holes and scarring from birth defects. My right retina has a major deflection in it and I 'won' the lottery in having it detatch post cateracts surgery (a nominally single digit percentage chance of happening) and thus needed further surgeries to correct.
