Get a Hetzner dedicated server. Don't mess with vps once it gets that large. Look on hetzner.com/sb for auction servers that might be better deals than regular ones. And does your 800gb of storage really have to be all SSD? Hard disks still exist and cost lots less.

If the bread is just stale you can restore it by wetting it and heating in an oven or microwave.

I use Debian on an old Thinkpad and (mostly) don't have such issues. Installs and upgrades particular work fine. I had probs with the wifi driver on my x220 but it works fine on the similar t520. Framework might be trying to do too much.

It will be the other way around.

Judge, order a copy of his fingerprints RIGHT NOW to check for imposters when they bring some poor slob into the courtroom claiming he is the guy. Also, have his family on a video call to the court to check him. Don't bring them in person since they could get grabbed too.

Doggone US carriers for shutting down the 3g network. I'd love to see the TSA goons try to install their crap in my old Maemo phone.

From TFA: lowest was in 2009. That would have been the tail end of the 2008 GW Bush collapse. History repeats.

Looking at your past posts you might have mental health issue like depression. You could see a psychiatrist about that maybe. Re COVID, maybe look at r/longcovid on Reddit and see if your symptoms compare. I hope things clear up for you.

No that's not till you're older. Did you have covid? That can cause lingering issues like that. That can improve over time but maybe not completely.

Had no idea even 5 year citizenship for rando immigrants in Germany existed. Maybe I should look into it, hmm. The US is looking bleak right now.

I did that fairly often when I was younger, but kind of grew out of it. I don't think it's bad in and of itself, but it can be disruptive or distracting, and lead to bad upsets as well as good insights.

Here's a method that is supposed to help get out of it, if that's what you want:

AI has become an abbreviation for "bad" and I wouldn't want that, but yes, I've been interested for a while in building language models into search engines, to give the queries more reach into the document semantics. Unfortunately, naive approaches like looking for matching vector embeddings instead of (or alongside) search terms seems near useless, and just clutters up the results.

I'd be interested in knowing what approaches you're using. FOSS, I hope.

Apparently Android apps (even in current Android versions) can check for the presence of other Android apps by listing the apps they want to check for in their manifest file. Nothing stops them from listing dozens or hundreds of other apps, and some do exactly that. Up til Android 11 they didn't even have to list the other apps in the manifest. Then Google "tightened" things to be almost as bad. Dumb move, Android.
